click image to enlarge Fact 1) VIN #E57S104062 Fact 2) Production Date of May 17, 1957 Fact 3) Originally Red/Red, non-radio; other options unknown Fact 4) Purchased in 1964 by Larry Leedy, a member of the Cal Club, and built as a B Production race car Fact 5) Complete Sebring package with five-leaf rear springs, HD front coils, finned drums and fans, fast steering adapter, second front sway bar Fact 6) Engine was 283 with 60-61 heads and FI unit and dual fan belts with idler pulley Fact 7) Raced as a White/Red car with SCCA #73, 7-inch Torq Thrusts and Goodyear Blue Streak racing tires Fact 8) Raced from ’66 Enduro onward with an SR-2 37.5-gallon steel tank (this tank is now back in an original SR-2) Fact 9) Raced from around 1964 into the late 1960s in southern California.
