Rumor 21) Ed Schwartz said he bought two 1962 Maroon/Beige Corvettes for the 1962 racing circuit and the cars were supplied by GM without engines installed (shipped separately) Rumor 22) Roger Penske may have sponsored the racing effort, or Hauser Chevrolet.
