PRC.52..1968 Corvette "Hanky Panky Special" Export Convertible/Coupe T-Top, L88, 4 speed, numbers match, (one of 80 produced), 33,646 miles. Silverstone Silver paint with Black interior. Two-year body-off restoration by Tim Thorpe for Rob Robinson using original or NOS parts including five original non-DOT tires. Bloomington Gold certified at 99.3%, NCRS Top Flight at Nationals (98.5%), and recent regional September 2010 certification. The original owners drag raced and competed in wheel to wheel competition and thus its nickname, "Hanky Panky Special". Optioned with aluminum heads, M22 special heavy duty transmission, power brakes, leather, telescopic, shoulder harness, transistorized igition, 4.56 posi, J-56 heavy duty brakes, F-41 special heavy duty suspension, SS brakes, A.I.R., off road exhaust, tinted glass, rallys, with five original non-DOT blackwall tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, T-Top bags, shocks, seat belts, washer system, shifter, plug wires, air cleaner, carb, radiator, hoses, hose clamps, owners manual, sales brochure, and T-3 headlights. Production date of May 18th, 1967 and delivered new for export to Hawaii by dealer code 909 in zone 21 per the official NCRS/GM shipping data records (SDR). Documented with the tank sticker, owner history back to new, letter and old photos of the car and original owner, owners manual packet, judging sheets, NCRS confirmation of awards, restoration photos/receipts, L88 registry, appraisal, and three ring binder. The tank sticker was validated to be authentic by the NCRS Historic Document Services on November 22nd, 2013.
