Tuxedo Black paint with Black interior and Black soft top... all in very nice condition. The mystery lies in the fact that this car has the rare Z06 (687) option with heavy duty suspension and brakes but also has been equipped with two front sway bars, extra air flow holes behind both front bumpers, and other unique racing items. Optioned with auxiliary hardtop, T-10 transmission, 4.11 posi, heavy duty brakes, special heavy duty suspension, Wonderbar radio, fuel injection, off road exhaust, sunvisors, windshield washers, courtesy light, heater, seat belts, large wheel hubcaps, and blackwall radials. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, replacement jack, jack tools, trunk mat, trunk liner, taillight cones, rebound straps, tar top battery, shifter, shielding, air cleaner, generator, distributor, hoses, hose clamps, F.I unit, F.I. fuel filter, finned balancer, expansion tank, radiator, guide Y-50 mirror, owners manual, sales brochure, and F.I. manual.  | 1103C.. 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe "barn found mystery car", 327-340 hp, 4 speed, VIN #816, body #334. Low mile original and unrestored. More information wanted. That was built on October 1st or 2nd with the following famous Z06 race cars VIN #684, 701, 787, 809, 813, 875, and 895. It is believed that our car #816 is only one body number higher than the Bondurant Z06 #813 that is now owned by Vic Eldebrock and there is special air ducting from the front core support to the firewall. Our car #816 was sold new by Ed Rinke Chevrolet of Centerline, Michigan dealer 384/zone 44 which is about one mile from the GM Tech Center. Does anyone remember this car? The frame is excellent. The body is currently Red with Black interior. Optioned with factory air (super rare), AM/FM radio, 3.36 posi, all tinted glass, 5-spoke chrome wheels, radial tires, and how about the original glove box door with its original air conditioning operations decal.
